Student-built home sold, going north
A couple from Morgan was the successful bidder for the home built by Forest Lake High School students this school year. The school board on March 29 awarded the bid to Dale and Patricia Trebesh. Their successful bid was $65,105. When the 6.5 percent state sales tax is added, the total was $69,336.83, said Larry Martini, director of business affairs. Martini said the home was to be moved to the Pine County area. Two other bids were entered in the amounts of $56,263 and $52,501. The home was built by students in the construction trades program. A second home is planned for construction in the 2007-2008 school year. A minimum bid of $49,000 was required for the home.
