Monday, Aug. 13 is the first day that residents of ISD 831 can vote by absentee ballot in the primary election for the school board. Eleven candidates have filed for the four seats that are up for election this year and a primary election will be needed on Tuesday, Sept. 11 to set the field of eight candidates for the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Ballots will be available on Aug. 13. Registered voters who will not be in the district on Sept. 11 may vote in advance by absentee ballot at the District Office Building, 6100 N. 210th St. Telephone requests for ballots may be made by calling 651-982-8104.
