2 from FL named to county committee

The Washington County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 6 appointed four residents to the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee. New appointees are Terry Smith and Bo Bogotty, both of Forest Lake. Smith, a former mayor in Forest Lake, serves as a District 1 representative, while Bogotty, a Forest Lake City Council member, serves as the local government representative. Reappointments include Bruce Stafford and Sara Minehart, both of Woodbury. The committee assists in the identification and assessment of public health preparedness needs; assists in development of an emergency response plan and helps build countywide relationships which ensure an effective emergency response system.
