The Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has heightened efforts to grow the membership during the first quarter of the 2007 calendar year. In addition to a recruiting effort by the board and membership committee, big savings will be offered during registration for the Forest Lake Home & Business Show. The Chamber along with the ISD 831 Community Education and corporate sponsor American Family Insurance Agency, Melanie Berneck, have extended an invitation to businesses in the eight communities in the Chamber area to participate in the home & business Show. The March 3 show promises to extend the success of past years with greater participation, free exhibitor training, activities for children, entertainment, and much more. As a bonus incentive, show participants signing up for new membership in the Chamber of Commerce will receive a $120 savings off of their booth cost at the show as a FLACC member. All early-bird registrants will save $25 signing up by February 9.
