Want to get the ear of your local state lawmaker or perhaps a member of the United States Congress? You’ll have that chance on Friday, March 9 when the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors its annual Legislative Breakfast. The event will take place 7-9 a.m. at Famous Dave’s, 43 SW 19th St. The cost is $9 for Chamber members and $11 for non-members. Reservations are requested by noon, Friday, March 2. House and Senate members from District 52 and District 17 along with Sixth District Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and 8th District Congressman Jim Oberstar have been invited.
