The Forest Lake Times has won one of the top contest honors during the annual convention of the Minnesota Free Papers Association. The newspaper was named the winner of the general excellence award. Contest judges said the following in their written comments: “The paper is organized very nicely. All the sections flowed together, and the page design was right on. News, display ads and classified ads all come together to create a wonderful product.”
