Dancing ends at sections

"Unfortunately, we missed the cut," is how dance coach Cheryl Smoczyk summarized the Rangers experience at last weekend's sections. In Kick, Forest Lake came in fifth place out of 10 teams, and ended up in seventh in Jazz. Last year the girls took 10th place, so Smoczyk was pleased with how the team came on at the end of the season. "We will hold tryouts for the fall season the first week of March," she said, "and though we will lose some strong seniors, we expect to continue to move up in the standings for next year!"
