The Broadway Business Task Force will have its next meeting on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 8-9 a.m. in Hall B at American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave. The meeting will include an update on the roundabout proposal for Lake Street (US-61) and W. Broadway Ave. (CR-2) that is scheduled to be constructed this summer. The meeting is a preview of plans that will go before the Forest Lake City Council on Monday, Feb. 26. County traffic planners will also review the project layout, including parking plans, and the construction schedule. A full review of the entire CR-2 Corridor Project and the roundabouts slated for construction in 2008 will also be presented.
