The Scandia Park and Recreation Committee is sponsoring a community bonfire and park clean-up at the Old Lion’s park, located at the southeast corner of Scandia Trail N. (TH-97) and Oakhill Road (CR-52) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24. Residents are invited to help gather and dispose of the dead wood in the park and enjoy the warmth of the bonfire. Families are welcome and encouraged to dress warmly. Those attending are asked to park on Oakhill between Highway 97 and Olinda Trail.
