The Forest Lake Lions Club recently held a Drug Awareness Poster Contest with all the surrounding schools in Forest Lake participating.

Children could participate in six different grade categories from kindergarten through ninth.

First, second and third place winners from each category are listed below.

Kindergarten

1st place: Autumn Schuldt, Forest View Elementary; 2nd place: Katsa Pellant, Lakes International Language Academy; 3rd place: Brody Christans, Forest View Elementary.

First and Second Grade

1st place: Jaryn Pellant, Lakes International Language Academy; 2nd place: Garrett Arntzen, Forest Lake Elementary; 3rd place: Courtney Creviston, Wyoming Elementary.

Third and Fourth Grade

1st place: Morgan Bothman, Lakes International Language Academy; 2nd place: Anna Tuamala, Forest View Elementary; 3rd place: Kassandra Murphy, Forest View Elementary

Fifth

1st place: Mitchell Claeson, Forest View Elementary; 2nd place: Taylor Tessier, St. Peters Catholic School; 3rd place: Reagan Paige Distler, Forest View Elementary.

Sixth

1st place: Heather Redinger, Wyoming Elementary; 2nd place: Katie Schlumbonn, Wyoming Elementary; 3rd place: Bobby Beynon, Wyoming Elementary.

Seventh, Eighth and Ninth

1st place: Olivia Olesiak, North Lakes Academy; 2nd place: Hannah Lau, North Lakes Academy; 3rd place: Jessie Peters, North Lakes Academy.
