The ISD 831 Board of Education has called a special meeting for 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday) to consider the proposed expulsion of a student. The meeting is closed to the public. The school board, however, must meet in open session after the close of the expulsion hearing to take action on the formal resolution for expulsion. The board is also slated for a round of committee meetings tonight that open at 6 p.m. and continue after the special session on the student expulsion.
