A head-on collision on I-35E at CR-14 in Lino Lakes on Thursday, Dec. 21 claimed the life of a Stacy woman. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a northbound 2003 Saturn Vue lost control, went through the median and hit a southbound semi truck in the southbound lanes of the freeway. Killed in the crash was Teri L. Asmus-Schultz, 53. The accident was reported at 1:09 p.m. Road conditions were wet when the crash happened. The truck driver was identified as Keith D. Ashfield, 31, of Watkins. He received minor injuries in the crash.
