The fifth Annual YSB Golf Tournament, benefiting Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau (YSB), will take place on Friday, July 27 at Castlewood Golf Course, “the Rock,” beginning with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Youth Service Bureau board member John Milbauer is coordinating this year’s event. The tournament will feature two, hole-in-one contests, courtesy of sponsors Forest Lake Ford and Whitaker Buick Pontiac GMC.

TOURNAMENT INFO

Cost: $260 per four-person team includes nine holes of golf and dinner, two power carts, and the great dinner that will be prepared by Hietala’s Old World Meats (separate dinner tickets are available for additional guests for $15).

Prizes: The first place team will share a $400 cash prize. The second place team will share a $200 cash prize. Six additional $25 prizes will be awarded for course events.

Raffle tickets featuring items donated by area businesses will also be available on the course during the tournament.

Rules/Format: Four-person scramble. Handicaps: Only one player with a handicap of five and under, with a combined team handicap of over 24 (nine-hole handicap). Mulligans and Eagles may be purchased the day of the event.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 18.
