A collection of songs often performed by El Ewert of Forest Lake is now available at three locations in Forest Lake. The CD, “The Classic Songs of El Ewert.” was released in late June and is available at VFW Post 4210, American Legion Post 225 and the Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau, all in Forest Lake. The CD sells for $10 with all proceeds going to the Youth Service Bureau and the Support the Troops program. Seven songs are featured on the CD, including Ewert’s trademark song, “Soldier Boy.” The CD also includes the “Star Spangled Banner,” and “God Bless the USA.” The CD was produced by Randy Gildersleeve at Gildersound in Forest Lake.
