The Minnesota State Fair Employment Center is open and accepting registrations for a variety of positions at the 2007 Great Minnesota Get-Together. Employment opportunities are for people 16 years of age and older, and each position has different requirements. Typically, applicants must be available to work all 12 days of the fair. To expedite the process, applicants are encouraged to use the new on-line registration system before visiting the employment center. Registration is available on-line at www.mnstatefair.org. After completing the on-line registration, individuals should visit the employment center to discuss employment opportunities. The center is located just south of the fairgrounds at 1129 Cathlin St., one half mile west of Snelling Ave. off Como Ave. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 22. The center will also be open on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 651-288-4475 or visit www.mnstatefair.org.
