A 14-year old youth from Chisago County lost his life on Friday, June 29 following a collision of two personal watercrafts on Crooked Lake near Garrison in Crow Wing County. Brian Michael Ammerman, son of Stan and Brenda Ammerman of Chisago City, died when he fell off his watercraft and was struck by a second watercraft driven by a 13-year-old. Brian Ammerman was a student at Chisago Lakes Middle School. The family previously lived in Lino Lakes. A funeral service was Tuesday, July 3 at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, Circle Pines, with interment at South Green Lake Cemetery.
