Laker set for street dance, bar stool racing

Pete Paidar, owner of the Forest Laker in downtown Forest Lake, is truly the leader of the pack when it comes to bar stool racing. As part of its fund-raising effort for the American Legion Post 225 Fourth of July celebration, Paidar is sponsoring bar stool racing from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Fun in the Forest Street Dance will follow from 8 to midnight with the $5 admission fee going to the Legion. Paidar is shown here with his staff racers.
