FLAAA meets on 2nd Tuesday
The FLAAA holds its regular monthly meeting the second Tuesday of each month at The Cornerstone in Wyoming at 7 p.m. Questions about the FLAAA or meetings call Terri or Larry Porter at 651-464-8094. The next meeting is Tuesday, July 10.
Forest Lake gets two all-stars
Drew Cremisino and Trip Schultz have been selected to represent the Metro East team in next weekend's Minnesota Lions All-Star Baseball Tournament. The tourney takes place at Chaska Athletic Park from June 22 - 24.
Forest Lake Community's 2nd Annual Summer Swimming Invite
Come one, come all to the Second Annual Forest Lake Community Summer Invitational, being held on Saturday, July 21 at Southwest Junior High. The invitational is for boys and girls from grades 5-12, and the competition begins at 10 a.m. Excluding diving, the meet will follow a high school schedule of events. The cost is $10 per swimmer and each athlete may participate in four events, and no more than two of which are individual events. Chisago Lakes Triathlon info
The Chisago Lakes Area Triathlon is now a proven success, and was voted in the top three of the Minnesota Triathletes Favorite Triathlons of the Year at the Minnesota Multisport Awards Banquet last November. The momentum has not stopped, as over 600 athletes have already registered for 2007, which takes place on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29.

23rd annual Milk Run registration
Entry forms for the 23rd annual Minnesota State Fair Milk Run, scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 26, are now being accepted. The 5K race starts at 7:45 a.m. Each participant will receive a Milk Run collector T-shirt, admission to the fair, a malt coupon and the opportunity to win door prizes. The run is sponsored by the Minnesota State Fair, University of Minnesota Gopher Dairy Club and Farmers Union. The entry fee is $20. The race is limited to the first 1500 runners. Entries must be postmarked by July 20. Online registration must be completed by 12 p.m. on Friday, July 20. Participants are encouraged to register online at www.mnstatefair.org.
