Masquers announces Beauty & the Beast cast for July run

Masquers Theatre has chosen its cast for this season’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The Board of Directors is excited to announce the following members of the cast:

“Belle” played by Stephanie Anderson; “The Beast” by Bill Bender; “Gaston” played by Dustin Roman; “Lefou” played by Brian Etienne; “Maurice” played by Tony Nobles; “Lumiere” played by John Zeiler; “Cogsworth” played by Doniver Ahlm and “Mrs. Potts” will be played by Jami Lercher.

Other recognizable characters include “Babette” (Breinn Habdas), the “Wardrobe” (Heidi Leeson), “Chip”(Lexis Wedell), “Silly Girls” (Melissa Stewart, Jessie Bystrom and Shawna McNamara), “D’Arque” (Steven McKillen), and the “Bookseller” (Peter Wiberg).

Other cast members include: Mike Manning; Elisabeth Smith; Kimberly Palmer; Greg Crane; Zach Marleau; Klara Manning; Kyle Nobles; Madison Palmer; Ariana Babcock; Maria Leeson; Natasha Montzka; Liz Capouch; Dan Hazel; Ryan Smith; Jeff Anderson; Nick Wiberg; Jon Bahnemann; Rachel Piersdorf; Marie Harris; Maria Monn; and Sam Sykora.

The cast has started rehearsals for the play in anticipation of its July performances.

Tickets for Masquers’ performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast are on sale now.

Tickets can be purchased at the Yellow Bus Children’s Shoppe, 826 South Lake Street, Forest Lake, by calling 651-464-2112 or they are available online at www.masquerstheatre.org using Paypal.

Ticket prices are as follows: $12/adult; $10/senior, and $8/children (12 and under).

The evening shows are at 7 p.m. on July 13-14, 20-21, 26-28. The 2:00 p.m. matinee shows are: July 14-15, 21-22, and the 28th.

This year, Masquers also plans to have an ASL interpreter for the hearing impaired. The details of the ASL interpretor will be released as soon as they are finalized.
