Parent-teacher associations and organizations are key fund-raising partners to all elementary schools in ISD 831. The Forest View Elementary School was recognized by the school board on March 8 for its recent donation of $39,372 to the school. “It’s a huge amount of money,” board member Rob Rapheal said last week, thanking the PTA. “This is just a great gift and the money is hard earned.” The school will use the funds for lyceums, computers, physical education equipment, instruments, Guided Reading books, library materials, Artist in Residence, acoustical tiles, staff appreciation, classroom treats and supplies.
