Swenson, Owens take Wyoming Township seats
Ronald Swenson and Jerry Owens defeated their challengers to take Seat C and D on the Wyoming Township Town Board.
On Tuesday’s election Swenson defeated Roger Gierke for the three-year Seat C. Swenson received 90 votes, 27 over Gierke who received 63 votes.
Owens received 98 votes to beat out his challenger Buck Schott who received 31 votes. Owens will occupy the three-year Seat D on the board.
A total of 154 voters turned out for the election.
