The Scandia Park and Recreation Committee has rescheduled the community bonfire and park clean-up at the Old Lion’s park, located at the southeast corner of Scandia Trail N. (TH-97) and Oakhill Road N. (CR-52). The event was originally planned for February 24, but was derailed by a snowstorm. The new time and date is noon on Sunday, March 18. Residents are invited to help gather and dispose of the dead wood in the park, and enjoy the warmth of the bonfire. The Scandia Fire Department will be on hand. Families are welcome. Those coming to the park to help are asked to park on Oakhill Road between TH-97 and Olinda Trail N.
