Anderson 7th in 35th running of the Iditarod

In his seventh attempt to win the Iditarod Dog Sled Race in Alaska, Forest Lake native Ken Anderson picked up $44,400 in prize money after he took seventh place, with a finishing time of nine days, 18 hours, 28 minutes and 48 seconds. Lance Mackey won the 1150-mile competition in nine days, five hours, eight minutes and 41 seconds.
