Sliding through the snow storm

Another foot of snow fell on the Forest Lake area from Wednesday through Friday morning and the new blanket of snow made from some good sliding. Two Forest Lake families climbed a mound of snow at Beltz Park on Friday and the hill was perfect for the kids and the big kids as a way to help slide through winter. At left, Dan Gallatin is poised for the big run while his daughter, Analise, 7, has her arms wrapped around dad. Forest Lake Area Schools were closed on Friday.
