ISD 831 looks for Festival of Cultures presenters

Forest Lake Area School District is now looking for presenters to participate in their first annual Festival of Cultures.

They are looking for individuals, groups, families and community members who are interested in sharing information on a specific culture or county in an educational and interactive booth format.

Booths may include maps, traditional clothing, crafts, games, samples of foods and much more.

The district is also looking for performers, including musicians and dancers who are interested in participating.

The free event is scheduled for Friday, April 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Forest Lake High School, located at 6101 Scandia Trail North.

The event is designed to celebrate the many cultures of the Forest Lake area through different programs like games, art, story telling, music, crafts, dance, food and activities for all ages.
