A visioning session for the Forest Lake Economic Development Authority will take place at 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 30. The meeting will also serve as the board’s second monthly meeting. The session will be an opportunity for the board to brainstorm on development ideas for the Broadway and Highway 61 corridors in the city. Once the EDA has completed its visioning plan and recommendations for changes in the current tax-increment financing districts, the plan will be presented to the public for comment. The last EDA plan was formed some 10 years ago.
