The annual Forest Lake Safety Camp has been scheduled for June 19-20 and area youth interested in attending should make plans now, said Forest Lake Police Sgt. Greg Weiss. The camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. The cost is $15. The camp will offer bike, street and personal safety tips in a fun atmosphere. Lunch will be served each day. Each child will receive a bike helmet and participate in a bike rodeo hosted by the Forest Lake Police. Applications can be picked up at Ottomeyer Chiropractic, Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau, Forest Lake Police Department or on line at www.flpd.com.
