Wal-Mart selects Fore as top teacher

Reid Fore, an art teacher at Century Jr. High, has been named Wal-Mart's local "Teacher of the Year" in Forest Lake. Fore, right, was surprised by a group of students on Wednesday, May 9 with a "Teacher of the Year" polo shirt, a personalized certificate, a $1000 educational grant and $100 gift card to buy classroom supplies. Duane Nelson, from Wal-Mart, left, was in Fore's classroom to congratulate him as well as Century Jr. High Principal Ben Lewis (not pictured).
