The Lakes Area Business Association of Forest Lake has held its annual elections to choose its new president and directors.

John Freed of Forest Engineering, Dick McNamara of McNamara Insurance, Brian Quehl of K&B Small Engine Repair, and Dick Tschida of Forest Lake Arctic Cat were elected as directors.

Karen Freed, Bob Linwood of Shoreline Express, and Clyde McCaskey of Forest Lake Desktop Publishing continue in their terms.

Officers elected for the coming year are McNamara, president; Linwood, vice-president; Karen Freed, secretary; and John Freed, treasurer.

The Lakes Area Business Association is a group of area business leaders working to reduce the cost of doing business in the Forest Lake, Columbus, Linwood, Scandia and Wyoming area.
