Area World War II veterans who would like a ride to the World War II Memorial dedication in St. Paul next month are being offered a free motorcoach excursion to the program.

Roberts Family Funeral Home in Forest Lake will be offering complimentary bus service to the State Capitol Mall on Saturday, June 9.

The new World War II Memorial will be dedicated during a formal ceremony at 2 p.m. on June 9.

The air-conditioned motor coach will leave at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, 555 SW Centennial Drive. Three 47-passenger motorcoaches have been booked for the day.

The Roberts bus is expected to return home by 5 p.m. on June 9.

Area veterans and one guest are invited to join the Forest Lake delegation, said Kelly Roberts.

Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis.
