Beginning on May 15 and continuing through Sept. 15, lawn sprinkling in Forest Lake will be limited to allow only customers with house numbers ending in an odd number to sprinkle on the odd numbered calendar days and to allow customers with house numbers ending in an even number to sprinkle on the even numbered calendar days. When peak water consumption exceeds twice the daily average water consumption or when an emergency exists which limits the city’s ability to supply water needs, the city administrator shall forbid the use of water for lawn sprinkling and such restrictions shall remain in force until removed by the administrator. The use of water for a non-conserving air conditioning system shall not be permitted.
