A string of vandalism reports dominated the blotter at the Forest Lake Police Department this week.
Two incidents involve what police believe was a B-B gun or pellet gun.
At 9:08 p.m. on Sunday, a resident of the 300 block of SW 4th Avenue told police a front window to the home was damaged by a B-B gun fired from a passing car.
The home owner told police a dark colored passenger vehicle was seen heading west on SW 4th Avenue.
A short while later at 9:34 p.m., Dairy Queen, 555 S. Lake St., reported that two of its west side windows were broken by an apparent B-B gun that was fired at the building.
The suspect vehicle was observed in the Dairy Queen incident. Police said the two windows were damaged to tune of $400 to $500.
Other vandalism incidents included a car that was egged and three lawns that were damaged by vehicles.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, lawns were damaged in the 600 block of North Shore Drive, the 600 block of SW 8th Street and the 800 block of SW 3rd Ave.
In all three cases, a vehicle was driven into the yard, tearing up the grass. A hubcap from a Toyota was found in the yard on North Shore Drive.
The egging incident was reported on Monday in the 500 block of NW 1st Avenue. The vehicle owner said the vehicle was splattered with eggs sometime overnight.
Anyone with information about the vandalism reports is asked to call the Forest Lake Police Department, 651-464-5877.
