After several months of wondering what to call it, Washington County officials have reached a decision. The Washington County Board of Commissioners last week officially gave the new service center in Forest Lake its new name. The official name for the service center will be the Washington County Headwaters Service Center - Forest Lake. District 1 Commissioner Dennis Hegberg of Forest Lake advocated for the name, indicating that the designation as Headwaters would help identify the facility’s location within Forest Lake. The new service center is just off Headwaters Parkway in the new commerical and housing development south of the airport.
