Rita L. Maier
Rita L. Maier (nee Hofeld), 65, Wyoming, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, with visitation 4-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 26 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gordon; children, Karl (Katy), Traci (Rodney) Besch and Joleen (Tom) Thordson; six grandchildren; brothers, Keithe (Suzie), Kerry (Cindy), and Kevin Hofeld; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne; and her parents.
Memorials may be made to the Wayne Maier Memorial Fund at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
