New job descriptions for directors have been formally adopted by the ISD 831 School Board. The action came on Thursday, Nov. 1 as the board approved policies which update job descriptions for the five district-level administrators. The policies outline job duties. In addition to some minor changes, slight variations in job titles were approved. The new name for the director of business affairs is director of business services. The title of facilitator of teaching and learning was changed to director of teaching and learning. The title of director of community remains in place but the previous duties of director of services and alternative programs was wiped away. Left unchanged are the titles of director of special education services and director of administration and human resources.
