KARE-11 reporter, and Forest Lake native, Karla Hult will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the third annual Stepping Out for Youth Gala to benefit Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Jimmy’s Conference & Catering (formerly Roberto’s) in Vadnais Heights.

Dr. Dick and Mrs. Erin Gross are Honorary Chair Couple. The event steering committee is being led by Kathy Bakke.

The event features a champagne reception, dinner and dancing, live auction, silent auction by ProSportsAuthentic (PSA) and entertainment by Cliff Brunzell and members of metro area favorites, The Golden Strings, courtesy of The Hallberg Family Foundation.

Portrait photography will be provided by Heather Gilbertson of Personal Image Photography.

The gala is a community event but reservations are required.

“The invitation list we have is names of people known to us. We encourage anyone who’d like to come to call and make a reservation. We’ll get them on the list,” assured YSB Development Manager, Pam Trudeau.

The YSB is still seeking items, like a timeshare, antiques, sports or theater tickets that would be appropriate for the live auction.
