34 students at FLHS recognized as AP Scholars
Thirty-four Forest Lake High School students and recent graduates have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition for exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
The AP program offers students the opportunity to take challenging, college-level courses while still in high school, and to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams.
Forest Lake Area High School offers 16 AP courses, which makes the district one of the top AP programs in the state.
Students are recognized by the College Board for several levels of achievement based on their performance on the exams.
The title AP Scholar with Distinction is awarded to students who earn an average of 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and a 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Students recognized are Justine Koch, Katherine Monberg, Andrew Nelson, Paige Patchin, Stephanie Zastrow and Rebecca Zierke
The title AP Scholar with Honors is awarded to students who earn an average of 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and a 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
Students recognized are Theresa Brenberg, Kelsey Burk, Scott Isaacson, Roman Morris, Jonathan Ohman and Christopher Sherwood-Gabrielson
The title AP Scholar is awarded to students who receive grades of 3 or higher on three or more exams.
Students recognized are Aayla Anderson, Andrew Bender, Amy Johnson, Madeline Johnson, Shannon Joyce, David Kasl, Amy Lalla, Syressa Lewis, Mallory Manning, Sarah Mitchell, Alissa Moberg, Christina Nowicki, Abigail Pooch, Lindsey Quale, Brendon Sanders, Abigail Sauer, Siri Simons, Emily Spanjers, Kalli Swedin, Frances Van Sloun, Victoria Yamry and Victoria Yeager.
