The Fran and Mary Ann Miron family of Hugo will welcome to the public for an appreciation event on Saturday in honor of their daughter, Ann, the 2007 Princess Kay of the Milky Way.

The Mirons are welcoming the public to the family farm at 15250 Homestead Ave. N. starting at 5 p.m.

Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m. Visitors are also welcome to stay for a hayride and bonfire starting at 7 p.m.

The Miron party on Saturday is an event to show appreciation for the support expressed to Ann Miron.

In August, Ann Miron was crowned the 54th Princess Kay of Milky Way. She will serve through August of 2008.

Miron is a full-time student at the University of Minnesota.

She is a graduate of Forest Lake Senior High School.
