The Washington County Board of Commissioners last week set fees for electronic home and electronic alcohol monitoring of offenders involved in the county’s community corrections system. The county set fees for a remote alcohol monitoring system at $13 a day and $16 a day for other types of monitoring. Fees are based on the system’s cost to the county through its agreements with vendors. Most of these fees are paid by the individual offender.
