The Washington County Board of Commissioners has accepted a $20,000 donation for the county library in Forest Lake from the Raft Charitable Foundation. The undesignated gift allows the library to use the funds for materials, furnishings, and equipment at the new county library opening in late October in Forest Lake. The funding will also be used for a system-wide winter reading program for adults held in celebration of the new library.
