The Joyer family and Waldoch Farm, 8174 Lake Drive in Lino Lakes, will host Family Farm Fest 2007 from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7. The afternoon is an opportunity to experience life on a farm and learn about the importance of agriculture. The events will include a hayride and a petting zoo. There will also be butter and candle making, seed art, worm-ology, square dancing demonstrations and veggie powered machines. Cost per family is $10. The event is co-sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension of Anoka County 4-H and Waldoch Farm.
