Gladys Shosten
Gladys E. Shosten (Tisdell, Sullivan), 92, of Forest Lake and formerly of North Branch, passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007 at Margaret S. Parmly Residence in Chisago City.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John D. Sullivan and later by Carl Shosten; parents, William J. and Bertha M. Tisdell; son-in-law, Steven Johnson; 8 brothers and sisters, Flora, Verna, Mabel, Dorothy, Donald, Merlyn, Clarence and Harry.
She is survived by her six children, Janice (Donald) Sullivan Kotraba, Kathleen Sullivan, John L. (Jeanni Campbell) Sullivan, Daniel W. (Dean) Sullivan, Timothy J. Sullivan and Margaret A. Sullivan Johnson; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Helen (Les) St. Peter; two brothers, Ray Tisdell and Harold (Connie) Tisdell; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Gladys’ life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Grace Alliance Church, located at 432 SE 11th Avenue, in Forest Lake.
A gathering of friends will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service.
