Krinke is LABA speaker Sept. 26
Phil Krinke, a former state legislator and current leader of the Taxpayers League of Minnesota, will be the guest speaker of the Lakes Area Business Association at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the Forest Laker, 131 N. Lake St. The event is open to the public The cost is $8.50 for lunch if desired. For reservations, call 651-464-5390 to reserve a spot. Krinke will comment on the recently completed special session and what he thinks will be the most important issues of the 2008 legislative session. The Taxpayers League of Minnesota is a nonpartisan, nonprofit grassroots taxpayer advocacy organization which fights for lower taxes, limited government and full empowerment of taxpaying citizens in accordance with constitutional principles. Its mission is to represent Minnesotans who believe in limited government, low taxation, local control, free enterprise and the constitutional principles set out by the nation’s founders.
