Pig roast, pot luck to benefit LaBore family
Area community members are invited to attend a pig roast and pot luck for the Ray LaBore family on Saturday, Sept. 29 starting at 2 p.m.
In addition to the great food, the benefit will also have a silent auction, raffle (must be present to win), face painting and many kids activities.
“Ray LaBore has been involved serving his church and community, dedicating his life to helping others,” said his wife Karen. “Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved sharing his knowledge and insight with others. This love of the outdoors and people led Ray to teach firearms safety to people of all ages in the Forest Lake community. Ray will truly be missed by family, friends, church and community.”
LaBore passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13 after a battle with terminal cancer.
All proceeds from the event will benefit his wife Karen and their four children.
Dinner will be served at 4 p.m.
The pig roast and potluck will be held on the corner of 207th St. and Granada Ave. N. in Forest Lake.
