Lakewoods Chiropractic, 255 Highway 97 in the Schilling Plaza, will have its community appreciation day 4:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26. Activities include a hot rod and classic car show, a chance to dunk the doctor in the dunk tank, free posture testing, free backpack safety checks (bring your backpack for proper use checks), free spine exams, plus food, door prizes and lots of prizes. The event is free to the public. Groceries will be accepted for a chance to dunk the doctor with all donations benefiting the Family Pathways Food Shelf.
