FL License Center moves to new location, will open Sept. 10
The Washington County License Center in Forest Lake will be relocating to the new County Service Center on Monday, Sept. 10.
The County Service Center is located at 19955 Forest Road North in Forest Lake, which is just off Highway 61, two miles south of Highway 97.
The License Center will remain in operation at its current location in the Northland Mall through Saturday, Sept. 8 (8 a.m. to noon).
“We have planned this move to minimize any customer disruption. We will provide full services at our Northland Mall location on Saturday, and then be open at our new site on Monday morning at 8 a.m.,” said Kevin Corbid, director of the Property Records and Taxpayer Services Department.
Services provided at the license center include driver’s license applications and renewals, motor vehicle titling and registrations, passport applications and photos, boat, snowmobile and ATV registrations, game and fish licenses, birth and death records, and marriage certificates and licenses.
Along with the License Center, the new County Service Center will also have a Public Service Desk that will offer new services to the residents of northern Washington County. Customers will be able to pay their property taxes and apply for homestead at the service desk.
In addition, absentee balloting will be available at the service desk prior to each primary and general election.
Residents with questions about any license center or public service desk services may call 651-430-6175.
