‘Back 2 Broadway’ set Oct. 21-23
Washington County will host a “Back 2 Broadway” celebration Oct. 21-23. A grand opening ceremony for the new Broadway Avenue (CR-2) bridge over I-35 in Forest Lake is planned for Saturday, Oct. 22. Visit www.broadwayaveforestlake.info in the upcoming weeks for detailed information.
The ceremony will signal completion of major construction steps in the Broadway Corridor Project from just west of I-35 east to 7th Street. While some utility work has commenced along Broadway to the east of 7th Street, major construction along that section of the road won’t begin until next spring.
