Sales will benefit youth athletics

Just in time for holiday giving, the old Tin Man water tower has been reborn — on new Forest Lake landmark notecards being sold by the Forest Lake Area Athletic Association (FLAAA).

The notecards feature four prominent landmarks: the old water tower overlooking lakeside park and the downtown, the E.J. Houle Feed Mill, Daniela’s Cioccolata, and the airport. Each set costs $10 and includes two cards of each design and eight envelopes.

All proceeds go to FLAAA to support the positive development of local youth.

Cards can be purchased locally at the FLAAA Sports Center concession stand, Forest Lake Floral, Rapid Press Printing and Kodiak Coffee. Kodiak Coffee is giving away a free brewed coffee with notecard purchases.

Cards can also be purchased online at FLAAA’s website: www.flaaa.org. As additional retail locations are added, they will be posted on the website.

Local businesses interested in selling the cards or purchasing them to use in their business should contact Laurie Kumerow at laurie.kumerow@yahoo.com.

The card creative was donated by Laurie Kumerow and printing was donated by Forest Lake Printing.
