The Men of Faith group from Faith Lutheran Church in Forest Lake served just about 570 ticket holders who ate 600 pounds of lutefisk at its 64th annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner on Dec. 6.
The dinner goers also ate 250 pounds of Swedish meatballs, 400 rounds of lefse, 88 pounds of coleslaw and 300 pounds of potatoes.
Faith Lutheran Church had the wonderful, competent help of approximately 120 volunteers of all ages, said dinner coordinator Sandy Zarembinski.
People who made up the Lutefisk Dinner Committee are: Bob Hanson, Curt Peterson, Lee Sunsten, Jim Marshall, John Westlund, John Chauss, Ron Anderson, and Sandy Zarembinski.
The Women of Faith/WELCA reportedly did well with their bake sale and silent auction. Sylvia Wavrin and Carol Baumgartner chaired this part of the event.
