Giese Library to host class on social networking on Jan. 18

New to social networking? Want to get connected?

The Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library is offering a Basic Social Networking Classes including a brief introduction and demonstration of Skype, Twitter, LinkedIn followed by a more in-depth look into Facebook.

The 90-minute workshop will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. It is presented by East Central Regional Library as part of our Digital Immigrants II series teaching individuals new technology skills. Limited seating is available and pre-registration is required!

You must pre-register by stopping by or calling the library at 651-462-9001 by Thursday, Jan. 12. Classes will take place on ECRL computers; there is no need to own a computer to participate.

The classes are made possible with a LSTA grant from the Institute of Library and Museum Services administered by the Minnesota Department of Education.
